Multicolor and multi-spot observations of Starlink’s Visorsat

چکیده
This study provides the results of simultaneous multicolor observations for first Visorsat (STARLINK-1436) and ordinary Starlink satellite, STARLINK-1113 in $U$, $B$, $V$, $g'$, $r$, $i$, $R_{\rm C}$, $I_{\rm $z$, $J$, $H$, $K_s$ bands to quantitatively investigate extent which reduces its reflected light. Our are as follows: (1) most cases, Virorsat is fainter than STARLINK-1113, sunshade on Visorsat, therefore, contributes reduction sunlight; (2) magnitude at 550 km altitude (normalized magnitude) both satellites often reaches naked-eye limiting ($<$ 6.0); (3) from a blackbody radiation model flux, peak components around $z$ band; (4) albedo near infrared range larger that optical range. Under assumption have same reflectivity, we estimate covering factor, $C_{\rm f}$, using model: factor ranges $0.18 \leq C_{\rm f} 0.92$. From multivariable analysis solar phase angle (Sun-target-observer), normalized magnitude, versus distribution presents moderate anti-correlation between them, suggesting magnitudes depend not only but also orientation along our line sight. However, impact astronomical Visorsat-designed remains serious. Thus, new countermeasures necessary further reduce sunlight.

Multicolor Observations of a Planetary Transit of Hd 209458
We present BV RIZ photometric observations of HD 209458 during the transit by its planetary companion on UT 1999 November 15 with the University of Hawaii 0.6m and 2.2m telescopes and the High Altitude Observatory STARE telescope. The detailed shape of the transit curve is predicted to vary with color due primarily to the color-dependent limb-darkening of the star, but potentially due as well t...
متن کاملProbing the Stellar Surface of HD209458 from Multicolor Transit Observations
Multicolor photometric observations of a planetary transit in the system HD 209458 are analyzed. The observations, made in the Strömgren photometric system, allowed a recalculation of the basic physical properties of the star-planet system. This includes derivation of linear limb-darkening values of HD 209458, which is the first time that a limb-darkening sequence has observationally been deter...
متن کاملA Deep Multicolor Survey . VI . Near - Infrared Observations , Selection Effects
I present near-infrared J (1.25μm), H (1.65μm), and K (2.2μm) imaging observations of 185 square arcminutes in 21 high galactic latitude fields. These observations reach limiting magnitudes of J ∼ 21 mag, H ∼ 20 mag and K ∼ 18.5 mag. The detection efficiency, photometric accuracy and selection biases as a function of integrated object brightness, size, and profile shape are quantified in detail...
متن کاملMulti-Observations Initial Orbit Determination based on Angle-Only Measurements
A new approach with the ability to use the multiple observations based on the least square approach has been proposed for initial orbit determination. This approach considers the Earth’s Oblateness by using the developed Lagrange coefficients. The efficiency of the proposed method has been tested in two scenarios. The first scenario is to use the simulated and the second one is to utilize the r...
